Modern Custom Gazebos for Your Garden

We draw a custom gazebo to the plot since 2009, not a kit to the lawn. Altán comes from Latin altus. Timber is graded by EN 350 from 1 to 5 in the shop.

Modern Victoria garden gazebo drawn to a specific plot

In short:

  • A custom gazebo fits the plot, not the plot to a catalogue.
  • Slovak altán comes from Latin altus (high).
  • We grade timber by EN 350 from 1 to 5.
  • What to order is in how to choose a garden gazebo. This article is the custom build.

A modern gazebo is not another name for a kit. It is a building we draw to a fence, a terrace and the sun. We have done that in our own workshop since 2009. The plan can be an octagonal Victoria, a Japanese Hinode or a clean aluminium line. The survey is shared. The catalogue size is not.

If you do not yet know the use, go back to the choice. If you know the use and a stock model will not sit, you stay here.

How is a custom gazebo different from a ready-made one?

By size, anchors and the fact that we build it to your plan. A ready-made gazebo saves time if it fits. On a slope, a narrow strip or an odd terrace you cut it or pack it. That is a dearer repair than a drawing first.

The history of shapes is in the history of garden gazebos. A modern gazebo takes the view and the shade from that, not a copy of a tomb.

On a survey I draw the path from the kitchen and the noon shade first. Only then the roof angle. The client often arrives with a photo of an octagon on a flat meadow. Their garden is narrow by the fence. Then a square sits on the terrace, not a Victoria in the middle of the lawn.

Wood or aluminium for a modern gazebo?

Wood gives a warm surface and suits a garden. We grade it by EN 350: 1 is the most durable, 5 the weakest. Softwood without protection sits in the weaker classes, so we impregnate it in the shop. Aluminium wants little care and sits on a clean facade. We mix them where you want a timber ceiling and a metal frame.

Woodnatural garden, classic housecoat by condition, not by the calendar
Aluminiummodern facade, little time for carewash, check joints

How do design, making and install run?

First a survey on the plot. Then a drawing and a price. Making in the shop. Install at yours. One partner, so the anchors do not change between drawing and build. Day by day that looks like building the Victoria gazebo.

Do not leave the spot until install. It has its own guide: where to put a gazebo. From 1 April 2025 a ground-level building up to 50 m² and 5 m high is a minor building in Slovakia under Act 25/2025. Notification and setback still need the office.

When you have use, material and three points on the plot, ask for a consultation. On the survey we will show whether this is a stock model or a drawing to the land.

Frequently asked questions

What material is best for a custom gazebo?

By care and by the house. Wood to the garden, aluminium to a clean facade. We grade wood by EN 350. A mix of both is common.

Will you design a gazebo for my plot?

Yes. We draw it to size, ground and house. A stock model goes only where it sits without cutting.

Do you also install it?

Yes. Design, making and install come from one shop. That is how the anchors stay with the drawing.
